I agree with Dodgeman. You need to have a battery on the glow plug to get it started. Also sometimes you need to shoot some fuel into the cylinder, but that was with older and smaller enignes than you probably have. Good luck You may call a hobby shop and ask them about your model and see what they say.

As with any engine you need to check to see if you're getting spark at the spark plug, and fuel in the combustion chamber. It the engine is carburated, pour a small amount of gasoline directly into the carburator. Pulling the rip cord is just like turning over the starter motor. So you still have to check the basics of what makes an engine run.

You have to have a battery hooked to the glow plug to get it started other wise it may not start something has to get the fuel ignited for the first time,after that it stays running on its own,good luck,those are fun to fool with.

Some models has a changeable crystal its that little two pin component that tells the frequency its on the car and controller try to ask the shop where you bought it if the have alternate componentsbut some models uses the traditional wire coil antenna and capacitor you got to know a bit of electronics to mod this one
